Albanian Students and the Corruption in the Educational System

The largest protest of young people during these 30 years of Democracy in Albania took place in December 2018 and one of the most pressing issues of students were related to the High Level of Corruption in the Universities from their pedagogues for a better grade. In Albania are almost 115.000 students that are facing problems and challenges in 7 university cities where they study.

Taking under consideration the situation the workshop “Albanian Students and the Corruption in the Educational System” aims:

To identify the frequency of cases when corruption happened;
To share the experience of students on how they handled the situation when it was a need to pay their pedagogues for a better grade;
To discuss and suggest how the situation can be changed.
