Run against corruption

On 8 February 2020, at 16:00 hrs, the Albanian Ministry of Justice, with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Albania, is organising the second edition of the “Run against corruption” . This year’s edition forms part of the activities organized within the “Week of Integrity”.

The initiative was launched in 2018, when over 400 people joined the “Run against corruption” around the Lake of Tirana. The Delegation of the European Union is supporting the Government of Albania in implementing the Inter-sectoral Strategy against Corruption with the aim to create transparent Albanian institutions with high standards of integrity that will increase citizens’ trust and ensure a quality and incorruptible service. The “Run against corruption” is implemented in the framework of the project “Communication and Visibility – Sector Reform Contract for the Fight against Corruption”, funded by the European Union.

As National Coordinator against Corruption, the Ministry of Justice is a co-organiser of this event. The “Run against corruption” is organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Tirana and the Agency for Park Recreation.
