“State Budget and Public Finances in Election Years and Election Periods – Legal Regulation, Institutional Practices, and the Need for Intervention and Improvement.”
The Round Table, as well as the Paper, aims to address the need for fair use of public finances during an election year such as 2025, to promote active monitoring by civil society and to outline aspects that may require further revision through a formal Electoral Reform Process following 2025. Furthermore, Civil Society Organizations (3 to 4) will report on the Findings and Recommendations of their monitoring and advocacy work regarding Financial Transparency in Election Years.
